Overview
Syria has been engulfed in civil war and conflict for over a decade, forcing many Syrians to flee their homes, seeking refuge in other parts of the country or in nearby countries. Some Syrians were able to make it to the the US including the DC area. Many are still dealing with the trauma that they faced, some still trying to support and help family who were unable to escape and are still in Syria.
The recent earthquakes brought Syria and Turkey to the forefront again as aid ministries struggled to get help to those in need. This adds a layer of struggle, grief, and pain to those in the area who have family in the affected areas but are unable to help. As Syrians in the DC area continue to work to rebuild their lives in a new country, they are still searching for hope, peace, and healing.

- Pray for Christians to engage Syrians in the area and show them the love of Jesus.
- Pray that God would raise up Syrian believers from a Muslim background to take the good news and hope of the Gospel to their people both in the DC area and around the world.
